Construction is complete on the White Tail Run older adult housing development in Maquoketa, Iowa. The 24-unit complex, located at 800 Myatt Drive, is the newest acquisition by Heartland Properties, Inc., a division of Alliant Energy Resources.
White Tail Run will be home to seniors age 62 and older. The single story, one-bedroom apartments have a shared laundry and community room. The building is located on a three-acre site on Maquoketa's west side.
Heartland Properties newest affordable housing development was made possible through a $770,000 investment by Alliant Energy Investments. Mortgage financing for White Tail Run is through the USDA Rural Development program and the Iowa Department of Economic Development Housing Fund.
Heartland Properties was founded in 1988, and has since sponsored and performed asset management on more than 5,300 high-quality affordable housing units.
